When developing the XO fly reels, Antti Guttorm and his colleagues had to meet a number of requirements. Because a premium reel needs a first-class brake, plenty of line capacity, a light but still very stable construction and last but not least: a distinctive design that sets the reel apart from the competition. These tasks were solved with flying colours during the almost 2-year development period. The result is a lightweight Large Arbor reel with a braking system that has convinced in many tests. There is a suitable model for the most important fishing scenarios, so that every XO rod can be completed with one of the jewels. The smallest model for fishing trout and grayling on light tackle has a fine-adjustable clicker brake - also to reduce weight. The larger models, on the other hand, have a strong carbon disc brake and parry the escapes of large sea trout, rainbow trout, salmon or pike without any problems. All parts are protected against corrosion and are therefore 100% saltwater-safe. The three largest models also have a closed spool cage so there are no problems when fishing with thin running lines. Thanks for that, Vision!
All in all, a very harmonious reel from the top league that will find many fans with its modern technology and modern look. Also cuts a fine figure on any other rod, of course.
