The TOKA from Vision follows in the footsteps of the popular EKA rods. This is already reflected in the name! Because while EKA means ‘first’ in Finnish, TOKA stands for ‘second’ in Finnish. What remains, however, is the fantastic price-performance ratio that characterizes this rod series. Because in the price segment under €200, these single-handed rods with their medium-fast action and carefully selected components offer everything that beginners and price-conscious fly fishermen need for a good time on the water. As the name suggests, the 9ft - #9 is a rod for pike fishing, but other predators where you need to fish with large flies can also be targeted with the Toka.

All TOKA models are manufactured with a blank made of 24T graphite, which offers a balanced mix of power and lightness. All rod blanks are unpolished and finished in a subtle graphite, which results in a tactical and timeless look. Matching this, all models have black anodized aluminium screw-in reel seats that hold your reel securely in position. The action of each rod and its components have been developed and put together for specific purposes. The lighter rod classes have a slim half-wells handle made from non-slip cork, while the higher models use a reinforced full-wells handle in combination with a fighting butt made from robust EVA. Each 4-piece TOKA is supplied in a matching Cordura transport tube, which protects your rod on the way to the river or lake.

In addition to the cool look, we are particularly impressed by the casting performance of the TOKA single-handed rods. All models are characterized by a medium-fast action, which is not only appreciated by beginners in fly casting.
