Vision product developer Antti Guttorm and his colleagues created Onki models to cover most of the situations anglers face when fishing for Summer Salmon, Sea Run Brown Trout or Rainbow Trout in medium-sized rivers. Based on Vision’s history with true classics like the 3Zone and the Nite/Nite Catapult, these four piece Korean made high quality switch rods have green olive blanks with graphite grey screen markings. The quality of high-modulus Korean graphite (40 tn) is something you normally find only in more expensive rods and it enabled Vision to create a very deep loading rod with very accurate casting performance. Whether you're in Scandi or Skagit: Onki rods will handle all kinds of shooting heads and casting styles. We've tested them with Vision's own ACE Switch shooting head system and we're totally blown away by Onki's super smooth and relaxed attitude. The rest of the components are of great quality as well. For example the handles have narrow rubber/cork reinforcements to make them more durable.
