Glossy Pearl from Textreme is a durable flash with a width of 1/69" (approx. 0.4 mm) per strand. This makes this fine flash material suitable for a wide range of streamers - from small to medium size. Apart from the obvious use in tying predator streamers and saltwater flies, you can also use Glossy Pearl Flash for ribbing nymphs etc. To do this, simply take a single strand of Flash and wind it around the hook shank. Ideal for Perdigon nymphs, for example. The surface of the synthetic material reflects the light in different shades depending on the angle and gives your pattern a great effect. With approx. 300 strands per pack, you can tie a lot of flies with this material!
