Glossy Pearl from Textreme is a durable flash with a width of 1/32" (approx. 0.8 mm) per strand. This makes this flash material suitable for a wide range of streamers - from medium to large. As well as the obvious use in tying predator streamers and saltwater flies, you can also use Glossy Pearl Flash as a ribbing for nymphs etc. To do this, simply take a single strand and wind it around the hook shank. Ideal for Perdigon nymphs, for example. The surface of the synthetic material in the colour pearl rainbow reflects the light in different shades depending on the angle and gives your pattern a great effect. With approx. 150 strands per pack, you can tie a lot of flies with this material!
