Although Textreme's Flat Chenille looks quite similar to classic Cactus Chenille at first glance, this great fly tying material differs in one key feature: In this chenille, the fibres are flat and more sparsely arranged. In addition, the synthetic fibres with the luminous surface are attached to an extremely thin core, which allows for a more accurate finish. In addition, the special arrangement on the core makes the fibres stand up particularly well when wrapped around the hook shank. The 40 mm size is ideally suited for large flies and streamers.
