A sturdy cartridge lead used for fishing Caroliner and Texas rigs.
For fishing as a Texas rig, simply thread the lead with the pointed side first onto the fluorocarbon leader, a matching glass ball behind it and finally tie on an offset hook. Now any rubber bait, preferably creaturebaits, can be presented perfectly. For the caroliner rig, simply attach a sturdy line stopper between the glass bead and the hook so that the distance between the lead and the hook can be varied.
