The Barbless Scud Hook from Sprite Hooks is an all-round nymph hook that can be used for many fly patterns. However, patterns like scud, buzzer and co. can be tied especially well on this hook. The S2499 Barbless Scud is a slightly curved nymph hook that makes the creek crawfish look deceptively real, as these also have a slightly curved body.
The Scud hook has no barb and is therefore particularly gentle on the fish. A great hook for tying the main food of many samlonids in our rivers, the crayfish.
