Ultralight spin fishing redefined! The brand new Neowave ULR rod from Sportex definitely sets new standards in the UL range and does not make it easy for the competition in terms of rod building. Weighing just 78 g in the heaviest model, the rod promises incredibly sensitive fishing and plenty of fish fighting fun. The slim, medium-fast Helicore blank made of high-quality T1100 carbon transmits the finest vibrations undamped to the handpiece and efficiently charges even featherweight lures. The super fine and sensitive tip helps with bite detection and lure control. Trout, perch and chub prepare incredible drill fun and whether in a small, overgrown stream or on a large stillwater, the different rod models cover the entire bandwidth of ultralight fishing.
Super ULR:
Starting with a casting weight of just 0.1 g (!), the Neowave Super ULR is the absolute ultralight champion. Even small nymphs can be cast and fished on this filigree rod with correspondingly thin lines. So if the conditions call for a super fine approach, there is hardly a better rod for the job!
While the super fine tip provides control and sensitivity, the lower part of the blank is reinforced with 4X-Cross technology and ensures a lot of power reserves, despite their delicate appearance. The continuous bending curve quickly tires out even strong swimmers. The combination of power and lightness is provided by the composite of T1100 carbon fiber, a special resin and special nano-materials.
The visual and technical highlights include the extremely lightweight titanium guides and the minimalist lightweight reel seat made of natural cork.
