The Swiss maufacturer Bullseye Fishing is a young company since it was established in 2014 by Markus von Euw. His goals were clear, and he wanted to design the best fishing rods for the European market that are technically possible. Therefore, he uses his own experience as longstanding tournament fisherman and other extremely popular and successful fishermen. His profound experience clearly contributes to the development of the products. The rod series Surgeon is Bullseye's Ultralight line-up and covers all light fishing methods. The rod can play its strength with finesse fishing like Dropshot, Texas-, Carolina-, Wacky- or Freerig but can convince in other techniques as well. Small jigs, hardbaits or metalbaits can also be fished with a maximum of control. It is suitable for perch fishing, streetfishing and trout fishing as well.

The Surgeon with a length of 198 cm as a casting version is the lightest rod of all Bullseye rods. It is the lighter version of the Cherry Picker and combines light perch fishing with ultralight fishing. It casts baits with only 2 g a mile and can also cast very precise due to its micro–Fuji SS SIC K guides. The Surgeon has a unique control of light baits and lures up to 10 g as well. The cross wrapped blank is fast and quite powerful so it can handle bigger creaturebaits as well. The handle can be detached from the blank to shorten the transportation length. The rod case can be used as a rod sleeve on the bank to prevent scratches and other damages.

The name says it: this rod is just like a surgeon’s tool. Once into hand, the fisherman will never put it away until the operation is over.
