The completely redesigned Magnus Boat series impresses with a robust, yet lightweight blank made of high-modulus carbon fiber, which has a very even power distribution. For better bite detection even at greater depths, Sportex has adjusted the tip area slightly and made it more sensitive. Vibrations thus penetrate even better through the tip. In addition to more accurate bite detection, this also helps with lure control, the tip gives very good feedback about the action of the lure under water. The semi-parabolic action of the Magnus Boat allows the fighting fish to tire very quickly and makes it possible to pump up even massive fish efficiently from the depths.
This travel version of the rod makes traveling to your favorite destination even easier. The 3- or 4-piece design ensures that the packing size of all models remains below 70 cm. So it's no problem to simply carry the rod in your normal luggage. So you do not have to compromise with your equipment, no matter where in the world.
The rods are equipped with WDB and DB SIC guides and a sturdy DPS reel seat from ALPS. All Magnus Boat rods also feature a cross end with an EVA cover cap.
