The Graphenon series from the house of Sportex is one of the best rod series that you can currently have in your hand as an angler. It is incredibly innovative and built with only the best components currently available. The special thing about the Graphenon series is that not only commercial carbon is used for the blank, but also up to 20% graphene is incorporated. Graphene is an incredibly resilient material as it consists of a honeycomb carbon structure. Incredible tensile strength and structural integrity characterize the material, which are fundamental factors in rod building. A crucial aspect of the Graphenon series is that the rods are incredibly fast and yet can load tremendously during the cast, thanks to the graphene structure. All Graphenon rods are also extremely light, as they are built on T800 carbon. They withstand immense loads and can easily tame even fish that seem oversized for the respective casting weight. Only the highest quality components from Fuji in Japan are used, such as the Fuji KL/KT-SIC for the guides and as Fuji TVS for reel seats. In addition, there is a 10-year warranty on all blanks of the Graphenon rods.
Graphenon Seatrout
The Graphenon Seatrout was, as the name suggests, built specifically for sea trout fishing. There are three models, one of which is even more aimed at trout lake fishing. All three rods have a continuous cork handle compared to the other Graphenon rods and thus stand out visually. They are all very fast and feature a semi-parabolic action that prevents sea trout or other salmonids from losing it during the fight.
270 cm // 1-9 g: The shortest Graphenon Seatrout has a length of 270 cm and a delicate casting weight of 1-9 g. This makes it suitable for very light sea trout fishing of course but serves much more on trout lakes with strong performance. Spoons, light sbirolinos and other trout lures can be handled with it and it makes for a lot of fun on the light tackle.
275 cm // 5-28 g: The next longer version of the Graphenon Seatrout is also clearly more of a sea trout rod. It has a length of 275 cm and a casting weight of 5-28 g. It can therefore be fished with all common lures and serves the entire spectrum of sea trout fishing.
305 cm // 5-28 g: The longest version of the Graphenon Seatrout has the same casting weight as its shorter version of 5-28 g but is a proud 305 cm long. It casts all baits at enormous distances and can also handle all common lures. It is also ideally equipped for targeted fishing for lake-run brown trout, as immense casting distances are often required there as well.
