With Salmonoid CCS series Savage Gear offers a range of beautifully tuned spinning rods with a special focus on coastal fishing. The different lengths and casting weights cover all areas of use in the field of sea trout and bass fishing, but are equally suitable on the trout stream or for fishing for perch, zander and Co. The Japanese Toray 46T blank has a tuned action that favors particularly long casts and a high degree of bait control. The tip of the blank is both fast and sensitive to ensure precision and distance in casting, even with smaller lures. The fine tip additionally helps to prevent dropouts and perfectly cushion strong head shakes.
A special focus in the development of this series was to enable long casting distances with relatively small lures under the most adverse conditions. This is helped in particular by the special CCS rings (Coil Control System), which ensure a perfect flow of the line without getting into friction with the blank. In the lower part of the blank, the rod has enough backbone to confidently put even larger sea trout and strong sea bass in their place. The modern blank is rounded off by a high-quality handle made of AAAA-grade cork, which lies perfectly in the hand even on icy cold days and guarantees hours of fatigue-free fishing.
In the composition of the components, attention was paid to a high level of quality and application reference, while ensuring a fair price-performance ratio. The Salmonoid CCS is perfect for you if you're looking for a light, zippy rod for the coast.
