Savage Gear SG 8 250 LH Baitcasting Reel
The SG 8 250 LH from Savage Gear combines style with power and performance and convinces with thoughtful features. The external centrifugal brake makes it possible to cast lures with a weight from 5 grams. However, the reel also easily puts away medium to heavy lures and is ideal for various medium-weight soft or jerkbaits. The versatile casting weight makes the reel universally applicable, whether for pike, zander or perch. Savage Gear’s DuraGrease and -Oil, the Line-ID and the finely tuned gear ratio complement the successful in-house development.
The reel is available in two different gear ratios. The 6.6:1 ratio is ideal for classic jerk fishing or crankbaits and swimbaits, while the 8.1:1 ratio is ideal for topwater fishing or jig presentation. The SG8 therefore offers the ideal model for all types of applications.
Due to the manufacturing of the frame from aluminum, the role is not only extremely robust, but also feels very valuable. A thoroughly successful reel for light to medium-heavy fishing for a wide variety of fish species. With the SG8 series, Savage Gear has brought a true all-round wonder to the market.
