The Westin Bornholmerkøl is a traditional sea trout lure that has been fished on the Danish island of Bornholm for years. Where the name of the lure comes from is therefore obvious and also the ending køl can be easily explained when you take a closer look at this lure. It has a keel on one side and is therefore quite stable in the air. It is an absolute long distance casting lure, but despite the keel it sways from left to right in the water and drifts seductively during spinning stops. It is available in several popular colours and in two sizes.
The Bornholmerkøl in 7 cm length already has a weight of 16 g, which shows how far the lure can be thrown. It is well suited to quickly fish a lot of water and has often caught fish even in difficult conditions.
