Illex Squirrel 61 SP Suspending Hardbait

The SQUIRREL 61 SP, like all other SQUIRREL models, is perfectly balanced and outstandingly catchable. Cast out and cranked up, it floats completely still on the spot in spinstops or when twitching, which makes many fish bite in longer stops. Even the lightest tugs from the rod tip or very slow reeling in will animate it to its flanking movement pattern. The barrel is just as stable and reliable even with the hardest twisting strokes and the fastest cranking. Due to the long throwing ball, unimagined casting distances are possible for a hardbait weighing only 4.5g. With a running depth of 0.5 to 1 meter, it is the optimal all-round hardbait for shallow twitching or in summer when the water is full of hatchery fish.

If you guide the bait with short twitches into the loose line the little Squirrel breaks out to all sides imitating a small fish in panic, an easy victim for any predator. The Squirrel should be a standard in every predator box!
