Tungsten as a weight is becoming increasingly popular and offers three major advantages over conventional materials. It has a very high density, which allows it to be smaller for the same weight, making it less abrasive. This also makes it sink faster, and its hardness provides better feedback on ground conditions. Further, it is more environmentally friendly than conventionally used lead, which helps us to protect our waters in the long run.
