A modern variation of the classic Red Tag. Tied with a slim body, a fine cdc hackle and a thorax made of synthetic dubbing on a barbless jig hook. Due to the tungsten bead those patterns work great in fast running waters and when fish take nymphs close to the river bottom. Especially grayling love the orange hot-spot, but also brown trout can't resist these tactical flies.
Tipp: These nymphs are fished the most effective with long (10 ft. or 11 ft.) and sensitive fly rods (#2 or #3) and thin leaders.
