Starting inertia is virtually non-existent to protect even the most delicate leader tips. The extremely wide adjustment range of the Evolution R's brake allows for incredible braking pressure! This is all controlled by a subtle but distinctive brake knob integrated into the frame, which blends in perfectly with the shape of the reel.
