For a perfect but movable sit of the hook behind the tube fly, so-called swing tubes are used. The small tubes are slightly expandable so that the hook eye can be inserted into one side and find a secure hold there. The other side of a swingtube is tapered. The tip ensures that with increasing pressure underwater the tube fly is pressed against the Swingtube and that it is always positioned in the center. With a swingtube from Propellerfly a perfect sit of the hook behind the tube fly is guaranteed, but it is still movable as soon as a fish enters. An ingenious solution for a straight run and best hooking characteristics.
