Product information "Mustad Heritage C67S Egg/Caddis Hook"
The Mustad Heritage C67S Egg/Caddis Hook by Mustad is much more than its name suggests. In addition to the mentioned nymphs like the Egg-Fly or various Caddis imitations, many other nymph patterns can be easily tied on this hook. The shape is highly versatile, and with a regular bead or a tungsten bead, numerous traditional fly patterns can be created. For us, this small, extremely sharp hook has proven to be an excellent choice for fishing for grayling, for example. In addition to the weight of a bead, the slightly thicker hook also ensures a rapid descent underwater. The 3x short and 2x strong hook is particularly popular when fishing in fast water, and the pattern needs to sink quickly. In addition to the incredible strength of the small hook, its hooking properties are also strong. Mustad's manufacturing processes such as OptiAngle or AlphaPoint ensure that the very long, thin point remains consistently sharp, and the TitanX coating makes the hook almost disappear in the water, as it reflects minimal light.
-
4.8 AlphaPoint® Technology: The AlphaPoint Technology provides an even sharper and longer point for optimal hooking properties with minimal pressure on the line.
-
Opti-Angle™: Based on Opti-Angle™, a chemical sharpening process is used to achieve incredible sharpness without compromising strength.
-
TitanX Coating: The TitanX Coating ensures an ultra-smooth and matte surface of the hook. The benefits of the coating include fewer reflections from light and easier penetration into the fish's mouth.

About Mustad:
Norwegian innovation since 1832! In addition to outstanding quality, Mustad is above all a company steeped in tradition. For a long time, nails and wire were produced in the Mustad factory, until Mathias Topp had the idea of manufacturing fishing hooks in the factory in the middle of the 19th century. Topp and his colleagues produced the first machine for manufacturing high-quality fishing hooks - The Hook Maker - in the greatest secrecy. From then on, Mustad produced first-class hooks for us anglers, but also for industrial and traditional fishing. Mustad is now represented in 160 countries and can draw on a wealth of experience.
