Norwegian innovation since 1832! In addition to outstanding quality, Mustad is above all a company steeped in tradition. For a long time, nails and wire were produced in the Mustad factory, until Mathias Topp had the idea of manufacturing fishing hooks in the factory in the middle of the 19th century. Topp and his colleagues produced the first machine for manufacturing high-quality fishing hooks - The Hook Maker - in the greatest secrecy. From then on, Mustad produced first-class hooks for us anglers, but also for industrial and traditional fishing. Mustad is now represented in 160 countries and can draw on a wealth of experience.
