Proper handling of a fly line can extend its life enormously. The regular care of a line contributes the largest part to it. Depending on the water, we recommend cleaning the line after every second to every fifth use. As a rule, the dirtier the water, the more often a line should be cleaned.
The Microslick detergent is one of the means that can be used for a maintenance of the line. Simply put a little of the dressing on a soft cloth and pull the line through it. This will remove deposits in for of dirt and make the line supple again.
