Mini ostrich feathers are suitable for tying streamers or as a thorax for Czech nymphs. The fibers are more resistant than e.g. Marabou.
Each awn has approx. 2 mm long hairs. When wet, the feathers do not stick together and still move great in the water. Perfect streamers and tube flies a la Frödin can be tied with these lovey coloured feathers.
Length of the feathers: approx. 7-11 cm
