These are modern carbon fiber rods, which have a convincing price-performance ratio and very solid workmanship. The SX series from Loomis & Franklin includes models that cover a very wide range of modern fisheries. From the small creek rod to the powerful Switch rod. This includes the SX Dry & Nymph, which offers a great versatility due to its length of 9.6 ft (ca. 292 cm). The slightly longer blank allows you to use a wide range of modern nymph techniques and enables you to controle the drift of your nymph much better. Mending is so much easier and high-sticking a dry in pocket water so much fun. Not without good reason, fly rods like this are so popular nowadays!

The SX gives you a huge amount of precision when serving dry flies and and nymphs. Its medium-fast action allows you to form very smooth loops and deliver your fly to the target with pinpoint accuracy. The modern carbon fibre gives an incredible amount of feel and a tremendous amount of fun when a trout or grayling takes the fly, and it loads up effectively when you want to make an accurate roll cast.

The Loomis & Franklin SX Dry & Nymph features a half-well handle made from sturdy cork that fits comfortably in the hand and is suitable for both index and thumb casting. The lightweight alumnium reel seat holds your reel tight and the dark green spacer matches the subtle finish of this modern fly rod that will give you a lot of fun on typical trout and grayling rivers without stretching your budget.
