With the Remix-S reel, Waterworks-Lamson combines a CNC-machined aluminum housing made in the USA with a spool manufactured through the aluminum die-casting process. The result is a robust yet extremely lightweight reel, as the cast spool significantly reduces weight, while the brake system sits in a secure aluminum cage, protecting the reel from minor impacts and bumps. The brake system, also from the USA, is assembled and tested by experienced Lamson staff, just like the reel itself.
