The strength-to-weight ratio in the die-cast process of robust aluminum has also been improved, thanks to a completely redesigned spool and housing. The new spool design also allows for cleaner line winding. The drag knob has been slightly enlarged, and its grip optimized. The proven enclosed drag system performs its service flawlessly, ensuring a very smooth and consistent line release in critical situations. The typical Lamson additional clicker prevents spool overrun at low brake settings and produces a pleasant clicking sound in both directions.
