The new spool design also allows for cleaner line winding. The drag knob has been slightly enlarged, and its grip optimized. The proven enclosed drag system performs its service flawlessly, ensuring a very smooth and consistent line release in critical situations. The typical Lamson additional clicker prevents spool overrun at low brake settings and produces a pleasant clicking sound in both directions.
