The Chubby 38 is the original one: Thanks to its short blade, it is a very effective lure for shallower waters e.g. small streams, bank areas, etc., or for fishing just below the surface. Simple cranking in and occasionally 'stop and go' is quite enough to be successful with the Chubby. Fast cranking provokes 'Reaction Bites' from otherwise lazy and sluggish fish.
