With the new Cascapedia fly reel Hardy relaunch their “old classic favorite”: A high quality fly reel with a traditional look and updated hardware that has been built to last. Cascapedia reels feature a full cage construction machined from 6061 aluminum that prevents line from slipping past the spool – A huge plus when fishing long leaders or thin running lines!
The Cascapedia reel series consists different models covering the line classes #4/5 to #10/11. The smaller model #4/5 is equipped with an adjustable click-check drag that prevents whiplashing and has a very pleasing, loud audible click. The bigger models #8/9 and #10/11 feature a strong disc drag with a disengageable clicker to smoothly stop big trout, salmon and stealheads. A one turn regulator gives quick access to the entire range of the drag and enables you to quickly react in hectic situations. The huge backing capacity underlines its suitability for big silvery fish and successfully calms your nerves. :-)
