Guideline's Braided Backing is a strong, very tightly braided polyester backing for underspooling your fly lines. It features good abrasion resistance and very low stretch, making it a faithful insurance policy when hunting strong and fast swimming fish. It also fills up your "empty" reel and increases the spool diameter, allowing you to reel in line faster during the fight. So whether it's on a small stream for trout, in a raging river for chrome bright salmon, or far away for tropical ocean predators, the right backing to use as a filling line on your fly reels is an absolute must.
Guidelines Braided Backing comes in many different colors and braking strains, so there's the right backing line for any application.
