Product information "Gamakatsu SC15"
The SC15 by Gamakatsu is a high-quality saltwater hook featuring a short shank, a wide gap, a slightly bent-in point and a small barb.
The problem with many classic saltwater hooks is that you can't use them for our local fresh- and saltwater fishing (e.g. on the Baltic Coast) due to a wire which is too thick and strong. Not the SC15! The smaller the hook size, the thinner the wire - without loosing strength.
This hook can be used for many different patterns: Smaller sizes are great for Shrimps etc. whereas bigger sizes are a solid foundation for streamers like Surf Candies, Clousers, 3-D-Streamer and so on. Of course the SC15 does a great job for any bonefish or permit fly too!
