The longest of the three arms also serves as a tool holder, which is extremely practical and provides a better overview when tying flies. The well thought-out tripod system can be adjusted and dismantled in seconds using the enclosed Allen key. The vertical axis can be tilted and the height of the tying vice can be easily adjusted to your requirements. The upper part of the vice, made of aluminium, can be tilted and rotated through a full 360 degrees. If you clamp the hook correctly, you can rotate it cleanly around its own axis! The resistance to rotation can of course be adjusted.
The central feature of this model is the long front fork, which takes two heads at the same time. Because there are two attachment points for the hook, you can easily fix very large hooks with this tying vice. The hook shank is held in two points, which reduces the pressure of the jaws on the material and minimises the risk of damage.
