Stonfo 651 Hair Packer
Anyone who works with deer hair or bucktail to make (large) flies will be familiar with the technique of "spinning". The Stonfo 651 Hair Packer is an incredibly useful tool for packing the tying material tightly and thus obtaining a perfectly formed fly, or rather fly head. Two different diameter openings (on both sides) of the Hair Packer allow working with various hook sizes. Simply place the Hair Packer on the hook eye and press it against the tied material. The result is hair that is extremely tightly packed and can be worked into amazingly good shapes using a razor blade, for example.
