The Half Hitch is the newest bobbin in the Rite range. It offers all the popular benefits of the standard Rite bobbins, with the added advantage of a tapered tube shaft that makes it easy finish off your fly without a whip finisher tool. This is especially useful for very small fly patterns and for all patterns that have a very elaborate head. The knots can be tied with minimal space and ensure that the fly can be fished for a long time without falling apart. It also saves you time on the tying table, which means more time on the water with full fly boxes.
The bobbin holder also has a very comfortable, ergonomic handle made of rubber O-rings, which also serves as a temporary thread keeper. The Rite Half Hitch is in our opinion a fantastic all-round bobbin and an absolutely great addition to your tool range.
