Perdigons - A typical nymph pattern that became very popular during the last years. Originally from Spain these tiny, heavy nymphs are made with only little materials. The body is tied with Body Quill or a special tinsel, which create a slim tapered silhouette. In addition with a tungsten bead these flies sink to the river ground fast and are highly effective when targeting Trout and Grayling.
Perdigon Body Material by Hends is a special tinsel that can be tied on the hook shank or used with a bobbin as a tying thread. The synthetic material features a shiny surface and reflects light in different colors. Very attractive! When finished, the body should be secured with super glue or varnish. Just add a tail (e.g. Coq de Leon), a black spot on the thorax and a tungsten bead and you're good to go!
Length: 10 m
