In our opinion Glo Brite is THE material for tails and tags. For quite a long time this yarn was kept as a secret amongst competitive fly fishers. But today you can find more and more dry flies and mostly nymphs tied with a tag made with Glo Brite. The big advantage is its fluorescent character, which developes a magical attraction to brown trout and grayling. Another big plus is that Glo Brite doesn't get darker when wet. The original color keeps shining, whatever comes. We're 100% sure that a Red Tag nymph tied with Glo Brite instead of ordinary wool catches much more fish!
Tip: If there are many sedges in the river you should try 'green' or 'chartreuse'. Especially in the summer months! Red and orange work well all year long and pink is a killer for grayling. Yellow has prooven to be a very good choice for small, filigree dry flies!
