Veevus G.S.P. is an excellent tying thread and by far one of the strongest on the market. This thread is not expected to break! It has a structure similar to that of silk. The individual adjacent fibres lay flat on the hook shank when tying and hold the material securely where it should be.
Due to its high load-bearing capacity, the thinnest version of this thread in 30 denier is particularly noteworthy. This is because it is only very slightly bulky and can therefore be used for tying the smallest flies as well as streamers and salmon tubes. It is also the first G.S.P with such a small diameter. With the G.S.P you can tie everything from small nymphs to large bucktail streamers and even the most coarse-motored among us will not get the thread to break.
- 30D
The 30D is an extremely thin but nevertheless very tear-resistant thread. It is suitable for tying dry flies, nymphs but also small streamers. - 50D
The 50D is a strong, robust thread that can be used to tie large nymphs as well as streamers. It is one of the most popular yarns for tying sea trout flies. - 100D
With the 100D you can tie large shrimp, or fish imitations for perch, zander and pike safely and durably. - 150D, 200D
The thickest threads in the G.S.P range are virtually indestructible! They are suitable for large streamers where a lot of pressure has to be applied to the thread. For example with bucktail, deer hair or popper flies.
