This Floss by Veevus is a realy versatile tying material. Its synthetic, fine strands are used commonly for tags and tails on nymphs and dry flies - resulting in attractive hot spots. A big advantage in contrast to ordinary wool or other products is that this floss doesn’t darken once wet, but colors stay bright. On parachute patterns Veevus Floss works great as a post too, like ordinary Antron on the Klinkhammer. But not just trout and grayling flies look way better with Floss by Veevus: Many salmon and saltwater anglers prefer this material over many others. For example as a substitute for ordinary tying thread - e.g. on Bonefish classics like ‚Gotcha‘ or ‚Crazy Charly‘. Just add a bit of super glue and you have a super fine head!
Veevus offers a wide range of colors, with many fluorescent colors in between. Those special tones can be made visible for the human eye with a UV-lamp easily. Just amazing!
