This thread is a three-stranded yarn of optimum strength and lustre, with a perfectly round appearance. This round-braided yarn is particularly popular for rod building, to fix the rings on the blank. In addition, its strength makes it particularly suitable for tying large flies: e.g. for large streamers or for saltwater flies.
