Hareline invented something new very cool! Ice Dub fibers of different colors were superimposed and "welded". Mats are so connected to each other at one side so that you can easily cut and mount the required amount of fibers, without messing up the remaining. This is important because the color combinations used in each case have a meaning. Below is dominated by a bright color and the colors at the top, hence the name "Minnow back" are dark.. Like a prey fish, which always has a lighter belly and a darker back.
