Fish Skull - weighted heads

Fish Skulls are a sensational innovation in the tying sector from the USA!

Available in various colors and sizes, these fish skulls are made of a 100% lead-free metal composite that is comparable in weight to aluminum. They are also saltwater resistant and allow the fly tyer to produce ingeniously realistic fish imitations within a very short time, which move up and down seductively (jigging) due to the weight at the front.
Any fish size is possible, from small streamers for brown trout to heavy pike/saltwater streamers.
 The realistic 3D eyes are glued into the recesses on the sides of the Fish Skulls and are included in the scope of delivery. In addition, you can of course glue in any eye of a suitable size available on the market if you want a different eye color or pupil shape, for example.
Fish Skulls have a built-in keel, i.e. 70 % of the weight of the Fish Skull is below the hook shank, so that the fly always runs correctly. If you want the fly to fish upsidedown, simply tie in the head the other way round.
Processing couldn't be easier. Tie in any rocker and leave some space in front of the eye of the hook. Before sliding on the fish skull, apply a drop of waterproof superglue to the hook shank. Then slide the fish skull on. Then add a small support winding directly behind the eye and you have a super catchy fly.
