The Helmet is applied to a ready tied streamer. The clou about this product is that it makes an up side down pattern which means that the hookbend points upwards.
This allows fishing very close to the bottom or even on the bottom without snagging your fly. Adding the included glue on eyes might induce the odd finicky fish that wouldn’t bite in a normal situation.
