Wapsi Gray Fox small

Wapsi Gray Fox is a very versatile natural product characterised by a soft, fine structure. The mix of soft underfur and filigree hair makes this fur a universal material at the tying table. It is used for classic salmon flies as well as for modern trout streamers. You can either use the skin solo or cut a strip. Trout fishermen use this skin for small zonkers, for example, or for modern jig streamers, which are becoming increasingly popular with Euro nymphing. The natural colouring of this fox fur allows an imitation of various small baitfish, e.g. minnows.
Tip: If you separate the hair from the base, you can use it as a tail. The sub-wool, on the other hand, makes a beautiful dubbing.
