Bucktail is a natural hair from white-tailed deer, which has enjoyed great popularity for decades - and in almost all areas of fly tying! Thereby the field of application of this material is truly impressive, because countless pike, salmon and saltwater predators are caught worldwide with Bucktail flies. For example, pike tubes push an incredible amount of water with a bucktail body, making them very effective. But the world of salmon fishing is also hard to imagine without this hair - there are numerous salmon anglers who would never leave home without the so-called "Cascades" and "Ally's Shrimps". Another bucktail classic is the "Clouser Minnow", named after its inventor Bob Clouser. The number of fish that fell for this pattern alone must be tremendous - and this applies equally to saltwater and freshwater!

Hareline started in 1981 in a private kitchen and has grown over time into a large company with nearly 1,700 square meters of production space. Based in Oregon, USA, the company now produces and distributes thousands of products that fly tyers around the world appreciate. Dubbing, in particular, has earned a place in many tying desks, but the remaining materials and accessories also impress with quality and a fair price.
