Spirit River Jailhous Ostrich is a super versatile tying material applicable to numerous fly types and patterns - streamers, tubes, nymphs dry flies.... you name it.
Ostrich is extremely popular material due to its vivid, pulsating underwater action. Ostrich marabou can typically be found in the form of wings and hackles on Spey-style salmon flies and Intruders which are essential patterns in any steelhead or salmon fly box. Furthermore, Ostrich is great for tying pike streamers and nymphs. Delicate imitations of insect gills and fine shrimp legs can easily and very realistically be tied from these ostrich feathers.

Hareline started in 1981 in a private kitchen and has grown over time into a large company with nearly 1,700 square meters of production space. Based in Oregon, USA, the company now produces and distributes thousands of products that fly tyers around the world appreciate. Dubbing, in particular, has earned a place in many tying desks, but the remaining materials and accessories also impress with quality and a fair price.
