UV Barred Buzzer Quill
Buzzers are important patterns when fishing for Trout on the lake. Presented on the floating or intermediate line, these patterns belong to the best fly choice on the lake and have a long tradition especially in England. These special nymphs are tied on curved hooks and are characterised by a very slim and segmented body. And this is exactly what the UV Barred Buzzer Quill is best suited for. The fine synthetic fibres can be easily tied on the hook shank and then neatly laid forward. The special grizzly colouring of the hard-wearing material creates a great look with a strong contrast. For the best result, the body should be secured with UV glue, superglue or varnish after the final knot.
The individual fibres of this synthetic tying material are approx. 10 cm long and are fixed on a hem at the base. This allows you to use the UV Barred Buzzer Quill as a long chenille too. All in all a versatile modern material, which also increases the catchability of your flies due to the UV elements.
