Fly tying materials from Fasna are characterized by best fishability and offer an interesting price-performance ratio. The Dutch manufacturer has become known through its involvement in the international competition scene. After Fasna products first proved their excellent quality with European competition anglers, Fasna materials are now known and popular worldwide. This is also true for Fasna fly hooks, which are manufactured to the highest quality standards in Japan. All hooks are made of the best Carbon Steel and have ultra-sharp tips.
The Fasna F-444 Jig Off fly hook is perfect for all types of patterns depicting the larval stage of insects. A universal nymph hook with a sturdy wire in normal thickness. The barbless model is suitable for a wide range of typical patterns and is offered in many sizes. Due to its shape, this model from Fasna is particularly suitable for combination with off-bead jig heads. With these special beads (e.g. made of Tungsten) you can turn your nymph into a jig nymph - the hook tip points upwards during the drift and the risk of getting stucked on the bottom is minimised. A big advantage! We also like to use the F-444 for Perdigon nymphs because of the slightly shorter shank - especially in hook sizes #16 and #18.
