Sprite Hooks S1970 Trailer Hook
The Trailer Hook S1970 is a modern stinger hook for a variety of different patterns. Especially popular is this model due to its 45 degree upturned eye when tying Articulated or Intruder Flies for fishing for salmon and steelhead. However, the strong hook with its strong steel is also very popular for domestic predatory fish. In the smaller sizes we use it mainly for streaming on big trout and because of its short shank and wide bend also on sea trout at the Baltic Sea.
The slightly upward bent tip of the hook and the small barb provide the best hooking characteristics. Even with little pressure in the swing, the fish hooks itself. The barb can of course be pushed in if desired.
