Craft Fur is a soft synthetic fur, which is attached to a cloth patch. It has a variety of lengths in a single patch, just like a real fur would have; some long and some short. Simply cut a tuft of fur from the patch and you will have a nice, tapered piece of synthetic fur that you can tie directly into your favorite baitfish pattern, streamer, etc.
Fly Scene’s Barred Craft Fur also works great as legs in shrimp imitations and a wide variety of other saltwater or predators patterns.
In short, wherever you want long soft fibers that do not absorb water, Craft Fur is ideal.
